David: I work as part of the sales team here in Leaf, my role would be to help our clients to find the best solutions adapted to their needs and help them grow because of it. As a an account manager I would say that I specialize in Cloud Technologies, Cybersecurity and Development.
Jessen: Could you describe the best parts of your job?
David: The best part of my job is providing a solution to overcome a clients problem(s) within technology. From something as simple as internal file sharing to complex Hyperconverged systems which run any applications at any scale, these are just some of the daily engagements that Leaf are providing a solution to from our vast portfolio of products /solutions. With Leaf being a cloud centric company we are always pushing to deliver services to be beneficial to businesses which in turn requires a continuous review of our services and matched with personal development. This is an area I have always felt Leaf excel and is reflected by the various certifications that all members of the team hold. If someone needs training regardless of the time/cost they get it!
Jessen: What’s your favourite technology?
David: I’ve always had a keen interest in MS Azure, which is why I initially wanted to work for Leaf. MS Dynamics is another product I’ve enjoyed developing my skillset but more recently the Nutanix stack has my attention, still quite a few exams ahead of me!
Jessen: What are your hobbies outside of work?
David: I’m in the twilight years of my football career, too many birthdays and cake! The last few years I’ve started to try and play golf. A few of our clients who have attended the Leaf golf days in the past would confirm when I say “Try”.
